For now M5P's been a let down for me, not much improvements over M3P.. I was expecting ~40MB/s 4K reads, waiting for more reviews for clearer opinion..

he's talking about @QD1, up to 5 or 6 is already extreme for desktop usage.. and probably you will never see higher than that.. QD32 or 64 is just meaningless for a Desktop SSD..

There is still plenty of room to improve 4K speeds which is OCZ talking about.. When you are dealing with thousands of small files you are left alone with your processor..

this is mine on sata2 along with Q9650@4.33GHz and it's a system drive with a much slower cpu so the difference is negliable

They bored enough be using smallest lithographies everytime and they found something keeps them busy lol.. ofc they are always busy but you know what i mean, peace..

Plextool SSD health = 100 - BB (?)

The Time spent between BB 1 to 2 was ~13 hours and it writes ~950 GiB/h, therefore total write is 12380GiB.. There...

yeah is such a thing even possible? :D
what's the chance CDI reads smart datas wrong, what's Plextool saying ?

amusing, it seems to me that the plextor was waiting for me to pop some reallocation..
at least i learnt what BB, B2 SMART ID's stands for for my CPP.. for example it lacks C4 and there was no way...

AFAICR first reallocted sectors did occur at ~1.180GiB on Samsung 830 256GB, one would expect The Plextor behave similar at roughly 600GiB for a 128GB drive, but fortunately there is no sign of it.....

Thanks for the news.. It uses 32nm Toshiba nands according to news.. would be interesting to see endurance testings against M3P :) (i hope Christopher is hearing this :p)

according to those Hynix bought LAMD, this may mean Neutron series use Hynix Nands ?
