I already took it as low as I could, but performance starts to drop below 1.115v LLC1 as the CPU stops boosting :(
I'm planning on a 13th gen Pentium and B660 to update my aging G4560 test bench...
So after fully testing and tuning, 1.115v at max LLC was the lowest I could go without losing performance, also somehow my multithread results went up a lot - likely due to forcing the cache as well...
Firstly this is my 10900K clocked to 5.3 all cores no offset, and getting that stable needs 1.425v and it can eat up over 250w peak power:

Secondly, this is...
Well I tried pushing it some more to the point of bricking Windows 11 and needing to reinstall.
At 1.8v 4666 and 4700 CL15 will boot but error quickly and led to the brick.
4800 CL16 also isn't...
12400 is faster than the 10900K in all reviews so ok. Even the Celeron G6900 has faster single threaded performance at stock. Clock speed is meaningless when comparing chips of different generations....
It is.
I believe its basically double density Micron E die, so its single rank compared to my previous dual rank kit.
Dual rank does also give a performance boost though, but I can't be...
Its worth noting that even the I5 12600 non K will be much better than your current 8700K. These new Alder Lake chips are quite amazing.

1.75v DRAM, 1.3v SA & IO, might be stable between 1.7-1.75v DRAM which I will try next.
15-20-20 was a brick that needed swapping the ram to reset. 15-21-21...

1.25v SA & IO
I bought some of this as the price was now reduced to £180, and I'm building an I5 12600 non K media PC to put my old ram into.
4600+ doesn't...
I don't even get why everyone left and why this forum died, it was one of the best hardware sites and my favourite back in the day.
IMO higher IO and SA is more dangerous than higher Vmem.
Also higher IO and SA do not bring more stability with lower Vmem.
With higher IO and SA you risk the life of your CPU. With higher Vmem...
Straight up looks like a meme CPU, afaik they couldn't make it 10c20t anymore because of the increased die space the new iGPU takes up, it would have been better if they made a version without that...
Userbench run for fun, I set my CPU to 5.1 Ghz 1.27v for it, and am going to try it at that for a while again, but it used to eventually become unstable.

With 1.5375v DRAM, 1.25v CPU, and 1.15v VCCIO.
This seems to have only been possible after burning the sticks in for a while at my previous 4133 CL16. Initially...
With a bit more playing around, it seems it was just the 5.1 Ghz all cores on my 10900K that was unstable, I didn't get a lucky chip. I'll sell the CPU and get a Gen 11 one when they are released.
...
Over 99% better than other ram scores in PC Mark, but Im running CL17 for 24/7 for the lower voltage, not staying at over 1.5v for 24/7.
Ive dropped it down to 5 Ghz 1.25v and 4133 CL17 1.425v for 24/7, I started getting instability and crashes in one game only (Outward) at 5.1 Ghz and CL16 4133.
5 Ghz and CL17 4133 has no...

Ballistix LT Sport. This kit was bought before they started separately binning 3600+ Mhz kits, so if you...
Is it even worth coming back here to post about my 5.1 GHz all cores 1.25v 10900K, and 2x16 Gb micron E die ram that I paid just ?150 for that somehow runs at 4133 MHz CL17 1.425v?
Oh well, I...
Wow, I think I might have struck a goldmine with these cards, stock settings boost clock is 1114 Mhz > 1316 Mhz, is that normal? The advertised boost clock is 1253 Mhz:

So an update on what will happen, I called Scan and they said the driver will be returning to wherever he sent the parcel (it was signed for by some random person) and trying to retrieve it. They...
