On my board, Crosshair IV Formula if I plug my external into the one USB3 port the drive senses power but nothing gets detected in windows.
If I move it to the port directly next to it...

I have an Western Digital External drive that's USB3.
It appears to be working at USB3 speeds, copying at 110megs/s.

At 1.48V the temps are pretty much 56-58 on what HWmonitor calls CPU and the cores are around 44 to 45 degrees.
I ran my fans specifically on a lower speed to heat things up...

DRAM REF Cycle Time and on the right of the screen it says TRFC. I will double check that later though

Oh yeah, that was just an experiment to see if it would boot at anything higher than 260HTT really.

This Crosshair IV board is really nice. I like the MSI, but at least this one doesn't whine at me under load. Temps are also fairly good.

Well I am looking to run at around 3.85GHz which is around 275MHz HTT. I liked running the 13.5 multiplier with the NB @ 2850 with HTT of 285MHz.

Well I know this ram runs perfectly at 1600MHz.
300MHz was a no go for the HTT. Is there any specific voltage I need to increase?
