I agree. Tech Report pointed out that the 6990 had a higher TDP and at least the cards that he had were the exact opposite and by a decent margin.

Some 6950s are 6950s for a reason. You might have one. Could also be power supply. Are your sixes , six plus twos or native six?
Startech makes no active DP adapters. You need something like http://www.amazon.com/Accell-B087B-006B-DisplayPort-Single-Link-Certified/dp/B004071ZXA and then run the HDMI off of the native. You...
I disagree. I get no noticeable stuttering and can tell a huge difference when I run single 5870 and Crossfire 5870.
5870 Crossfire>5870
Thanks everyone. I just wanted to share. Hopefully I can get some numbers up this weekend but since I don't have extreme cooling it won't be huge.
I have never had it on the back. I liked...
Two XFX 5970 Black Edition Limited. Time for the fun to start.
The liquid cooling loops would have to be a buy as you go thing but this case was really meant for it. I think it can handle the two cards on air but the benefit of liquid on large cards like those...
I have an 800D case with a TRUE. I replaced everything with Yate Loon low CFM fans. This thing is near silent. I have an H50 on order to try it. I know I am getting two GTX 480s when they launch....
Still, if you look at what most Eyefinity setups are around the most I have seen are three TN panels like the P2310H from Dell has become really popular because of the low price tag and the inclusion...
Doesn't the Classified have jumpers to disable some of the slots. I don't recall if my board, 758A1, lets you put in any slot but if it doesn't force the top slot for single card operation than try...
The GPU pot kind of reminds me of those old 70s lamps that my parents used to have.

Europe may be different but in the US after about thirty days you are usually stuck with the manufacturer. If you can go back to the retailer is a question for the retailer, not the manufacturer,...
I am kind of afraid to be the first to reply because I don't want to be a jerk but this almost looks like a joke.
Is this real?

The rest looks functional to...
Gorgeous. Your pots have always had a pretty good aesthetic flare. Are you going to continue upping the ante with each design now?
The 4870X2 has no external connections. You only need it if you are running two of them. It is all traces in the PCB.
LP is analog , not optical/digital. It is basically like writing in stone.

CWT does have an 80+ silver 850W. 88%. And, the packaging would fit and look nice. They also have a 1300 silver...
I don't think RAIDMAX makes their own, RAIDMAX doesn't have any silver PSUs. They have two bronze. Not them,
LOL. Who knows? That seems to be everyone these days.
The report didn't say. I want to know as well. Seasonic, Channel Well? 80PLUS silver looks good so there can only be a few I imagine.

It looks promising. The PSUs look good if not a little machine like. XFX is launching power supplies likely by this post on PCPER and these are no joke...
