yes latest version of rivatuner will do the job fine! (download @ guru)
Gainward and Palit 1024mb is good up to 1,6V vgpu @ air (cold air from outside)
take care on pwm area, but really improved power delivery here...
didnt gain much mhz @ 1,5V+ (4 sure just better...
any pics on modding gainward HD4870 GS 1024mb (with 2x2phase design) ?

if you got a schrader valve on high side i would add the oil on inlet, but pull vacuum before because of air in the system, this blocks the oilsep.
in my case its compressor=>oilsep=>condenser
...
