The 10600k isn't much different than the 8700k TechPowerUp did a review comparing the 12600k and 10600K. The difference is almost 17% average increase in 1080P in the selected games

My 2700k was slowly dying and now it and the motherboard sit in the box, resting in peace. There is a point where it has to spend its remaining life in a box, ashes to ashes, box to box.

Those are the HEDT(High End DeskTop) versions for SP systems. I'm sure they only have one QPI enabled per CPU like current HEDT IVB CPUs.

In my Microbiology class we watched a TED talk with the speaker lecturing on a similar approach for other diseases. It's pretty interesting stuff if its implementation is cost-effective.
