no that switch is to change bios to 1 or 2 incase you try to mod bios and screw it up. just leave them all on 1. it has nothing to do with were you place the crossfire bridges.

if you have installed 11.6 at any time rolling back or getting newer drivers will not fix what ever 11.6 did or does to your system. but the good news is the fix is easy. goto CCC top right click...

if you uninstall from control panel only. reboot then install new set. it will keep the old settings.

if you installed with a old bios and were having crashing ect. you more then likey have a corupted windows install. i would format and reinstall windows. do a good low level format with...

very nice. now if you have any other problems it would be if you ever installed 11.6 drivers just goto prefernces top right of cc and then hit restore to factory defualt. glad that worked out for ya.

reboot after uninstall. take one card out. the one furthest away from the cpu. boot up install 11.8. chut down put card back in and put on crossfire bridges. boot back up and see if its all good.
