Not to be rude but you obviously are not following the instructions then.
You must have the optical device as your first boot device to flash. Sorry to try and help you out.

Yep what H2O said above, then just pick the BIOS file you want and burn it as an ISO on a CD, set boot device for CDROM/DVDROM drive first, and flash.
Try this site, select your mobo and what files you need, and voila good to go:

That page comes up fine for me, just Google EVGA Support or Drivers and you will find it though.
You'll definitely know when it is flashing via visual display and beeping as it reprograms - read the instructions I posted above. Make sure you are on default settings in BIOS before flashing.
I'd suggest the S61B or S61J BIOS - if you need to snag them and read instructions for installing them it is simple -
