As far as 2 gb 4x512 kits let me talk to the engineering dept
TCCD /TCC5 of all week codes play well with the 875 , just dont expect 600MHz on the 875 , those are out of this world speeds for the 875 chipset
and fugger is talking about ddr 2
I am with fugger and tony , board and CPU play an important part , we a have some percentage of DFI motherboards in our labs we have to mark as bad becuase they wont hit the PC-5000 test spec , ...
these are dual spec 2-2-2 @ 3200 and 2.5-4-4 @ 4800
We do test them above the 4800 spec
As far as the tcc5 based plat rev 2 , those are way cheaper than any tccd based product , and they...
Actaully I am saying that you have seen more good440's because there are more 440s on the market than any other week code I know of, and overall the performance has improved more or less as the time...
I dont think 440 TCCD were that good in the first place , the best tccd I have seen were about 419 , people who are comparing week codes based on small sample lots are bound to get strange results...
We moved to TCC5 becuase it was cheaper and more easily available , with the same performance as tccd , TCCD are expensive becuase they are hard to get ,
nonetheless people keep begging for them...
It should be Released today , and ship to stores tomorow , putting it on shelves with in 2-3 days
the cost will be higher than the standard PC-4800 product , which uses the lower cost Tcc5 chips
As far as how good the results shold be you will have to give me some more time to review the testing proceedure , I will post back when I get a chance
basicaly so far the idea was just to speed...
I have been away from the forums for sometime , however I noted that regardless of the fact that we were passing on the savings of TCC5 chips to consumers while not redcuing performance there was...
actually the PC-4800 you had for review had Tcc5
:toast: yeah black dragon was being nice , 3 cheers for the good guy :toast:
Those reviews are most likely mis-stating the chips they have probably becuase they didnt know any better or just called them TCCD meaning samsung much as people say UTT when they mean more...
all PC-4800 and 5000 are tcc5 and PC-3200 rev 2 with a version1.1 are tcc5
Not sure , Maybe you can get andy, eric and puni in touch with each other
Also why would you pay 240 Euro , The recomended price in US is about 190 dollars with works out to 135 Euros
I...
Its unofficial , but we always try to go the extra mile to help our customers
Thats what OCZ is all about :-)
TCC5 and TCCD speed bin out the same. I mean the same percentage pass for each...
We do use TCC5 completely interchangably with TCCD
That means the PC-5300, PC-5000 and PC-4800 platnium are using tcc5 also
in fact all PC-4800 use tcc5
so all the reviews of those...
BLackDragon ,
We will glady work with you on a RMA , and I am sure you will be thrilled with the results , Thanks for the tone of your post Its a lot freindlier than most. I will pm you regarding...
We never kept it a secret , AMRGB , Why do you keep saying that
its been posted in every major forum and the revision numbers are plainly listed on every OCZ label
and BTW if your stuck at 260...
TJJ ,
Maybe your problem is the cpu memory controller ? I mean dont get me wrong we are here to help you , but the problem is not becuase it is tcc5 vs tccd .
You might even have a bad stick ,...
I personaly posted that we use tcc5 interchangably , months ago
Also people on other forums posted we use tcc5 , its no secret and never was
Our support staff would inform anyone who asked.
...
This thread is just ridiculus , We use TCC5 and TCCD dependant on whats readily avaible on the market , we have been using them for months.
I posted that we use them here on XS months ago also
...
I am going to buy up some swiftech stock , I wonder if anyone else here would buy any
This is very cool , :-)
