C1 southbridge !! which don't heat as much as the A3 southbridges

but so far only 240Mhz stable, and only with d10 bios :(

humm, wait 1 week or 2 , there will be the AMD64 DTR 3000+ at 250€ (same as the std 3200+ BUT without the IHS and lower stock speed)

You can also try the moded bios d10 by Mickey Padge : bios d10 with Sata raid bios from the d14

Btw, as all know don't even think of flashing this beta bios without a bios savior/ 2nd bios chip

Hum, i would like to get one of those PCI card to get a SUPA-ram drive mounted into cheapo PC2700 or 3200 for my windows and benchs setup :)

dont pay the spare bios chip, ABIT send you one if you send them an email ;)

The differences is

NF7-s has the serial ata controler SIl3112A + adapt PATA to SATA serillel2 (which cost 20€)

NF7 has no sata habilities

NF7-SL has the sata controler but no adapt PATA to...

THe great 1700+ overclockers can do 1.2v @ 1.8Ghz on passive SLK800 prime stable : hell hot but stable (note that you will need the 2nd fan of the psu to get it as high)

in P4's mobos, there is no limitation of hardware except the ram quality, but AMD's setups this is another story :rolleyes: (edit : northbridge, southbridge, cpu, etc ... )

This last one is so far tested at 240Mhz (Nrth week 20) going higher later with better PSU

got nothing better with that mod upper than 2.3V, not more stable either, i heard of better results of the Vcore mod on rev1.2 (up to 2.4V before overcurrent protection cut off the CPU)

I ve seen some L2 cache craching from high vcore and low temps. No probleme yet with my barton @ 2.3V cross fingers ;)

buy a little MCX159-R, torn the little pins , then you will get a innovative MCX159-R-V that will accept a 60mm fan :D
