Now by GPU encoding you're referring to the check box in VLC? I'm really thinking it's CPU related since it always seems to studder and ripple when the CPU spikes to 100% load on both cores.

Well, things are slowly coming together, got my replacement card as well as the uni-sinks from D-tek :up:
Did a little modding to get the Maze 4 and the uni-sinks to match up, I like the overall...

Definitely look into MLS, I used to run a DSM and I swear by it. Might want check the head which side the HG blew, to check if it warped any, anything is possible. And definitely look into head...
