ive been runnign the 510fix-3 bios now and I able to hit 3.2ghz and play counterstrike all day but I flashed the 704-3 and -1 and computer wont even boot at 3ghz. I reflashed with the 510fix and boom...
thats the crossfire card and are only on the crossfire cards. That guy learned how to work around it

So you have an X800 pro vivo?
That will work, there is a bios that I have used to test it. It is a x800 pro vivo 16pipe bios. All it does is unlock the pipes and leave the default clocks.

the x800 only have 8 pipelines right? And the x800xl have 16 so that deffinitly wont work.
Another question - why do you want to flash it in the first place?
It most likly wont work because the x800xl uses a different core made with a different process. What kind of x800 do you have, PCI-Express or AGP?
Why dont you just flash it to a xt pe or plain...
I vote for the NF7-S, never had the infinity and never needed it. For socket A it was always a battle between the 2. I had several nf7-s's and they never let me down unless it was a user error.

yeah they are upgrading the 520's, 600's all come with the 8(2xp4)pin. You probly have the older model.
I know the new rev of ocz 600w powerstream has the 8pin that will actually split to 2x4 pin. I think all the new atx v2.01 standard psu's will have them
