I have a quad-core Llano laptop as well. I thought the lines across the screen was a defect on my unit but now that you say you have it too sometimes, then I guess it's a Llano bug after all....

wonder if blizzard is gonna be a launch partner...
Yes 64-bit. Motherboard is CH IV Formula.

My rudimentary methods gives me the approximate same die size as Cayman. I'm taking the ratio between the top and bottom corners of the die and the top and bottom line of the square lines on the PCB....
Ivy Bridge's IGP is really going head to head with Trinity's IGP. The GPU performance gap might still be the same. Let's hope AMD can close in with the CPU performance gap.
Just count the number of silver connectors coming out from the back.
hmm, my bad then. My source had an incredibly low L2 read for some reason. But anyhow, the L2 latencies are really problematic...
...
L2 read is 2x slower, L2 write is 50% slower and L2 copy is faster for BD compared to K10.
A half clocked L2, if true, would explain the high L2 latencies in Aida64. Even my 1.5Ghz Llano has lower L2 latencies with it been around 4.0ns while 3.6Ghz FX gets above 5.0ns.
Is a say 3Ghz...
If I were AMD, I would have called it X90FX and X70.
What will also be interesting is to see how PD actually performs without the massive L3. The 30% increase in GPU performance could be due to the increase in SP by switching to VLIW4.
I bet moving to DDR3-1333 would give Bobcat a solid performance boost.
The CPUMark score doesn't seem bad as my 4Ghz Thuban scores 553.
Can someone explain why a i7 970 is 6x faster than an i7 950?
What is strange is that every voltage is at 1.4V
I don't think its worth it for a 1600x900 lcd screen.
We don't have MicroCenter in Canada.
I get the 12V EPS connector, but what is that 4pin connector above the CPU socket for?
I think its
8130P 3.2Ghz and 8110 3.3Ghz
No, keep going. We want more posts here than Antilles has SPs.
Why do people always look at what's at the tip of their nose? So what if nVidia steals 1 month of sales from their 580? If AMD would release data 1 month earlier, that would give nVidia 1 month time...
I don't know if its fud or not but check page 19:

What does AMD drivers have to do with uncore frequency? They used the same driver throughout the entire tests. It is possible that there were a few hiccups during the tests with higher uncore,...
I hope AMD positions 6850 against GTX 460 768MB and 6870 against the 1GB version. If they put 6850 against GTX 1GB if they perform similarly, then there's nothing to go against 768MB version.
