I can guarantee you they are not Samsung :D
Hynix for sure, it's up to vendors to fix the XMP timings.
Yes they are all Hynix and I would say 2800/14 @1.35V is pretty similar to 3000/15@1.35V.
Good to know, thanks!
the chips are Elpida BDBG and they are quite like PSC at one point it doesn't scale anymore.
the memory was not limiting use, it was more a cpu problem (bclk limitation).
we used Dominator...
thank you guys
we are almost sure the cas 7 is a new worl record.
we couldn't match Hiwa cas 8 score.
and for the cas 6 we are still looking for higher scores but we can't find anything.
Following our score at GamesCom almost 1 year ago Benji Tshi and I decided to retry some memory maxscreen action.

this is the latest article from hardware.fr http://www.hardware.fr/articles/831-1/taux-pannes-composants.html
the one linked by guru3d is from january

I see Elpida 30nm not Hyper 30nmin the title, it should look more like BDBG.
very nice results !
one cool thing on x58 is that you are not bclk limited like you can be on p55.
I've found another 5,6G

it's the MOA qualifications for America not the entire world... it's understandable that the prices are aimed for America ^^
very nice results !
maybe you could try the P5E3 WS which is not bad with 65nm

it will be interesting to see the price difference between the P67 Fatal1ty and the P67 Extreme6, because these two are really close on the layout.
top end boards will comme later :)
nice score
have you figure out your delta temperature problem ?
I think yes, in single channel.
have you try dual ?
I'm always amazed how much vtt you put :D
very nice !
I was waiting for some memory action, good luck with it !
it's nice to see this kind of frequency on other board than Gigabyte :)
very nicely done, congrats !
this CL7 frequency is impressive.
we've tried maxmem at high frequency but it was crap
we'll try to get another shot with Benji Tshi but we need a cpu with a...
As promised the cpu batch : L930B512
btw here is a small vid of the event uploaded by Kingston http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuOXwV18VO4
we'll get you the batch of the cpu if you want, it'll just take some time.
But be sure it's not the best you can find: not good with 2x2gb kit and bclk limited around 255MHz.
We were limited by...
