Looking forward to all the reviews! I haven't built an all AMD system since socket 939.
I think I first came here to learn how to overclock my FX-53/Socket 939. Good times!
Oh shoot it's in my sig lol!
I've been using the stock HSF on my 4770k since 2013 when my Swiftech H220 crapped out. Twice.
I think it's time to delid, OC, and purchase this.
Thanks for the review!
I just found this today. Too bad the X5470 that I saw on ebay isn't compatible with my old Gigabyte X38 mobo. Would have been a nice upgrade from my tired E6750.
...
I went through 2 Swifttech H220's and sold the 3rd without even using it. Both pumps failed within a very short period of time. I know custom loops are the best way to go but are there any AIW...
At the egg of course. Waiting for a Microcenter score hopefully soon.

Looks real good! Well done!
BTW, have you seen the new Inwin Dframe mini? I think I have a new project for a pure gaming rig. :D
...
I see someone has a 4790K. I'm jealous. I want to see how well it overclocks compared to my 4770k.
Yeah, when they worked. I'm on my 3rd H220 due to pump failure and I haven't even put it on yet.
Does the rad hang over the side like that because of not enough room? I thought that radiator was longer, not wider.
Do you plan on using a reservoir?
Are you mounting it on the bottom? I just hope your Swiftech pump lasts longer than the other 2 that I had. I didn't even install the 3rd one I got that was RMA'd.
Looking forward to seeing that!
This is why I only build new rigs once every 5 to 6 years. When that time comes around the new hardware is 5 to 10 times faster. Not in increments of small percentages for massive amounts of cash.
Swiftech is sending me another "new" one. I can do one of two things with the new one:
1. Connect a reservoir to it. Which I think it needs more than anything. The reservoir on top of the radiator...
It didn't fail, yet. I was loud but for some reason it got quiet again. Still ticks but it's not as loud. The first one seized up. Let's see if the 2nd one does the same.
Makes you wonder if they're pulling out of the US market because of patent infringement or high rate of failure. Cause I've never seen anyone fold to an accusation that quick.
INWIN D-Frame

Gonna keep working on it as if there was air in it. It did quiet down some today. Before I went to work I left the case on it's side so the entire radiator sits higher than the pump. My son said it...
This is the
That's why I did Haswell + Windows 7.
When I got the 2nd system I specifically looked for that and found nothing. But if you look in the first video I have the system lying on the table and the pump still failed so I'm stumped. I'll have...
Temps are fine. 29 at idle.
I take back what I said before. I don't want these systems anymore. This is going to be my 2nd RMA for these H220's. I thought these things were supposed to last for a few years?
1st pump before...
After getting a new Swiftech H220 system after the pump seized up I finally put my stuff in the case. I might put one more fan in at the bottom by the vid card if temps get a bit out of hand but so...
Wicked! Probably overkill for just a cpu alone but cool nonetheless. Now if I loop it into my GTX 780 then it might be worth it. That's if it fits in my D-frame case.
