I have the GEN3 and as far as I know no such BIOS update exists for it (0301 is the only build available)

Well ASUS basically wants to do an RMA on the board however I do not think that will resolve the issue. I have asked for the ticket to be escalated to their engineering team (worth a try)

I have opened a ticket with ASUS and here is the first reply I got back from them:

"Please clear CMOS, and disable the PLL function again, also please disable the C1E, C3 and C6 function then test...

The update as far as I know is only available to technet subscribers. I have the RTM but for some it has caused constant reboots so I would just wait.
