it worked for me, i have 2 msi 6950 flashed to 6970 both overclocked at 950c and 1420 mem, and have not had a single problem yet, and the scaling is awesome right around 80% for me.

I have the 890FXA and i love it, very easy overclocking, the oc dial is a pretty cool feature. But the layout of the board is just awesome. You will love it.

try to get your CPU Voltage up near 1.55-1.6 with a good cooler you wont have to worry about the heat and try to bring your nb speed to around 2500 you really wont see much of a differences in speed...
