That's a little strange, because a 2001 date is supposed to indicate an XP without service packs. SP3 usually has 2008 dates.

Bug: Intel Burn Test 2.54 Linpack randomly fails to properly load the cores and shows real low GFlops. When this occurs, I must reboot or close and reopen Intel Burn Test.

Are you sure you wasn't put on "economy" before? Were you real low, like 768 kbps down?
