With a 2700k it should be way easier to get 5000 stable on liquid.
With a 3770k you will need propably lower vcore but the cpu is way hotter and harder to keep cool for 5gig.
My best chip out of 5 has the following details:
L206A975 #4070
It will do 4500 4/8 with 1,17v Prime and 5000 2/2 32m at about 1,34v.
Under LN2 it can do 6600 on M4E-Z, but propably limited by 59...

Anyway still a nice cpu, do you test it under air or h2o and let's say 4500?
Yea, the ram will be a problem...
My badest ivy did 4500 on h2o with 1,23v under prime95. Just try the 1:11 Divider, and i think you will need much less vcore...
I and dernettemann tested several Ivys on a Maximus V Gene and we noticed a really strange behaviour.
Even after a reboot the vCCSA and vCCIO a set to 1,4v and vCore also. We tried several Bios...
Solution for your Problem Chris: Just send me the board and the CPUs. I will Take care of them :)
