Its time for the next step in Phase Change cooling, so decided to build a 2 Stage Cascade.

It will consist of:

1st Stage

- Mitsubishi RE313VDMT Rotary 18k BTU/31.3cc
- 3KW Condenser...

Its a long time I finished it, but had no time testing it in action.

At slightly in vacuum it goes down to -28 without fan working, I have to tune it at load...

I recently revisited s775 and decided to build a tiny chipset SS

1/10hp 2.95cm? r134 Compressor
Condenser 21x17cm
Base plate 27x24cm
3m 0.8mm captube
1/4"discharge line...

R404a/r507 should used in an SS.

For -50C @ load you have to use a Rotary compressor as in the SS in first page

NEK2150GK was around -32C at load (x256 4k)with a 3770k/7700koverclocked and -42C at load with a Sempron overclocked, so about 15C difference

Idling around -48C

It is noisier than the Aspera NEK2150GK (1/2+hp) I had before for sure.

But it is a beast(for my use) it can hold a:

-i7 3930k (350Watt) @ 5.35GHz @ 1.69v in x265 4k
@ idle -57.0C / load...

I tried with i7 3930k 6c/12t @ 5.25GHz 1.6v , not attached -64C, idle -58 , load -52 @ end of CBr15

I change the Rotary to a 12000 BTU Mitsubishi 20.7cc r407c that Nachtfalke suggested.

Discharge pipe is 5/16"
Suction pipe is 3/8"
1/4 sae Gauges
...
