Lian Li PC33: you can fit standard ATX mobo & PSU, have space for 4 HDs and 2 x 5,25"
still need additional power for vga? and still using those stupid floppy connection?
actually i've just bought dominators fan to cool my ocz sticks: if you reverse their fan and reverse mount it you can slap under them every kit of ram. i've done it for my flex and works great
Have someone put his hand on this case?
I personally don't like thermaltake cases - feels too cheap and very ugly - but this one seems to be interesting. Have read a couple of reviews but still...
i've got 2 rampage, one with a q6600 and the other with a q6700. both are running 3.6 ghz (450x8) and both can run up to 500 fsb (with x7 multi) very easily, but temps are stopping me from get higher...
Don't get me wrong, but you have to improve your knowledge before wasting money. If you're not able to push your q6600 over 3 ghz, probably you won't go much further with another cpu. P35 chipset has...
I still can't figure out what are you doing with 2 7900GS. P5K-E has a P35 chipset so you can't run the 7900 in SLI, so what do you do with them?
Agree. It's not an upgrade. You'll got very little difference from a dual core clocked at 4 ghz or higher. Just keep your q6600 and spend your money for a new vga (btw do you really have a P5K-E mobo...
Does someone know if this mobo supports E8600 and the new E0 stepping?
Thanks! i'm not a guru in ocing and still have a lot to learn about this mobo, so i'm very pleased to have suggested you something right!
about using a lower multi, it depends on you and on your...
Well, you may try to lower voltages! AS before, try lower nb a notch and then FSB term and see if it last longer or not.
i would also start thinking about upping CPU voltage a little bit, as usually...
You're using voltages i've poste above? But for 400x9 or 450x8?
No more BSOD? This is a good starting point. Now it's time to search what is still wrong with theese settings by trying and errors.
I...
Not sure, but your voltages seems way too high to me. Did you jumped directly to 395x9 or did you upped step by step from 266x9?
I'm using this settings for 450x8:
CPU PLL 1.50 (with LLC activated...
...hope you jump on nehalem train very late so you'll have more time to explore this board deeper and teach me something else!
From your screenshot i see you have a tRFC value of 36, try set it ho higher value, for example at 55. A high row refresh cycle time is needed to run 4x1 GB.
You may also try to set NB GTL at 0.67x
mikeyakame! glad to see you back!
find something new about this mobo? new hint to reach higher oc and better stability you want to share with us?
thanks again! this evening i'll try your settings to see if they works for me too!
thanks! and what about vNB, PLL, FSB Term and GTL's?
furious
can you post your settings for q6600 @3.7 ghz please? i'm stuck at 455x8 and need some good advice for settings to use to get a little higher. thanks!
Is someones still using this board with kentsfield? I'm looking for some hint to get this cpu stable past 3.68 Ghz. My actual config is 460x8, but can't manage to get one single more Mhz out of it,...
so no oc, no problem. well, what is the main task of your system? as stated before if your main aiming is play games you will gain vantages of e8600 higher clock even if you loose 2 cores. otherwise,...
what's your qx6700 clocked at? if you managed to get it to 3.6-3.8 or higher, i think it's useless swapping to another quad (unless you've got enough money for a qx9770/9750): you will probably end...
looking in water cooling section i've noticed that many userrs mounts shrouds on radiator to get better airflow through it.
so i'm wondering if somebody has tried to mount it even on a TRUE (or any...
64°C doesn't seems too high for me....as stated before, i've nearly touched 80°C and AgentGOD reached 90°C on his rig. still maybe pwn zone overheating that causes your pc to shut off, but i'm...
