As I explained room temps can approach 90F when not using the A/C and even stay around 80 with the A/C on (apartment is not the best plus I have huge ceilings and a loft where the computer is)...
Are you using fans in push/pull setup? Also how high above ambient are your temps. During the summer it can get really warm in my loft (So CAL area) so more rad might keep the rise above ambient at a...
I will be using Phobya Radiator Stand which can hold 3 120.3 radiators or 1 of those giant 180x4 radiators. I was thinking that 2 Swiftech MCR320-QP and 6 Zalman ZM-F3 fans should do the trick. This...
Redbeard, is their any hope for full covered modular VGA coolers?
I wonder how the H100 will compare to the XSPC Rasa 750 RS240 CPU watercooling kit as this kit will be its direct competitor.
Looks like retail will be 149$ if the Directron Listing is any indication.
OOS. For 100$ I was gonna grab one.
Nice I just built a ZFS nas box myself. I went the pre made route as there is nothing can touch this case for its size and price.
HP Microserver
Just add more memory and a 25$ intel PCI-E nic...
Nice case. That case can hold 6 HDs correct?
You make a great point chicken.
I hope its fun and the multi has some staying power. They better open the demo to everyone because I will not buy before playing it. :)
I wonder how big the blower fan is. It looks like won't be much better then the Ref based 6970 cards. Probably just a bit cooler and slightly lower noise output.
the larger fans can move air but the smaller fans will have more static pressure. I don't think its worth the change. Stick with the 230mm fans.
Yes. Need to crack my fan speed up 10% to 65% from 55% to keep temps under 80 on my MSI 465-470@800/1600/1648
For Sandy Bridge in that speed range, Coolermaster Hyper 212+ plus 2 yate-loon ls 120mm fans in push pull. cheap and quiet
Can you even order these???
Any decent high end air cooler will be good for 4.5GHZ 24/7 with HT on. I would say 4.7-4.8GHZ is a realistic goal for a 2600K on high end air. Unless you already have the W/Cing gear, I think its a...
Mod shops for computer cases don't exists unless you want to ship your case for someone to do it for you.
The Archon would for sure, but you need to worry about the height and being able to close your case.
While it's fast, caps will diminsh it's overall effectiveness. Also wait till the network gets saturated.
I am going to go out on a limb and say that under heavy heat loads, the H70 will do better with high flow fans that have good static pressure. Under low noise tests, the H50 and H70 are about equal...
Amazon has it for 89$ and free 2 day shipping.
Damnit! Fry's would price match this too. ;) and I just bought my 2500K and MSI P67-65 a few weeks ago.
Is the AX 1200 platinum certified?
