one example. I tried to open and recognize .djvu file with 3.5GHz X6, 3.5GHz i7-920, 3.5GHz i5-750 and westmere running 4,5 GHz
the results are:

AMD can easily create 10-core 32nm K10.5 (with the same as Thuban square). This could be a monster

most tests use 2-3 cores, or optimizations for intel instruction sets (sse4, avx)

I worked with Finereader a lot, the only cpu that faster than Thuban - is Westmere. But where finereader in tests?
