Just buy an SSD instead :)
Can someone please post how many MB are shown in task manager when you have 32GB RAM ?
I have 32GB Mushkin, but instead of 32768mb I get 32735mb ?
33mb missing, this is ASUS P67 motherboard so...
I am surprised that such a drive can cost so competitively, could it even match SLC ?
Well there are several manufacturers now saying they will release GTX680 2Ghz, I was wondering if it meant that the GTX690 (2 x GTX680 950Mhz) is potentially obsolete ?
The questions still remains and no-one has given a valid explanation:
Why is Gigabyte's design inferior to Intel Specification ???
A good manufacture creates a motherboard that meets the...
As far as I know, Gigabyte advertises some of their board as "Power optimized" meaning power efficiency, and an easy way to reduce the power draw of the board is to reduce the number of components...
Great to see people with 2500k not over excited with Haswell, I am in the same boat :)
10% is Moderate, not a jump like we had Pentium 4 to Core2
Search the net, there are many people having problems with Intel 520, and this is after coming off Intel's 330. I too started having problems with it after 6months/2TB write, my system started...
It's computer Art, like Picasso
It's far better than OCZ's NAND, but compared to Samsung 830 it's dissapointing for the reason that the Intel SSD costs considerably more than Samsung 830.
Great work. I find this thread fascinating. Also I thought Intel 520 would go on forever, but it looks like the Sandforce controller is a let down, as it died without even reporting relocated sector...
This thing will make you dumb! don't do it.
15 years ago without mobile phones, a girl would tell you her phone number once and you would remember it, now you can hardly remember a girl's name...

There are heavy duty chokes and basic shokes, these look like basic chokes and can't really be compared to heavy duty chokes, so looks like a marketing gimmick.
I find this hard to believe until the original poster replies with exact details. Also he only has 10 posts, maybe he is an Anti XFX making this up ?
Nice, but won't be cheap :)
Well if Ivybridge is 10% faster per clock, then a 4.5Ghz Ivy will match a 4.95Ghz Sandy :)
Well it is their first ever 3D transistor, so it hasn't had as much refinement as their High-K transistor production. Hopefully next chip will be better.
There are different types of Power phases, heavy duty and light, the ones on this board look light just like Gigabyte uses, so they cannot be compared to ASUS's heavy duty power phases.
Agreed. Also I doubt their BIOS is as good as ASUS and Gigabyte.
AMD entered DRAM production not long ago. Probably costs cheap, and GTX550 is a low cost card.
This is more marketing to say "We can do it and we did it first" this gets people noticing Sapphire. Even HD7990 won't need 6GB.
