So far bois 0001 is pretty good. Increased my fsb by four from 470 to 474 fsb x8 with my Q6600 @ 1.49 Vcore and 1.47v Northbridge fully LinX 25 times stable and Prime 64bit 12 hours stable.

Same here, using profiles actually mixes up all my settings and causes system instablility more than good. Never uses it since I've found out.
What part of Bay Area you from?
Vallejo for me.
+1 gazillion. Try the rest but this one stay for good.
Thanks! I got the product and serial key yestarday but needed the version 9.5 64bit installation file which you've provided below. Again thanks for the links!
How come product key link is for version 9.5 and the download link is for version 10? Is the product key for 9.5 work on version 10?
This have been my usual way of stability test. For so long if going by these two test my system have never crash on me. Other might have other ways but this one is my favorite.
Similar jump here. P4 3.0 HT (in sig still running strong for the kid)----> Q6600 @ 3.8 probably good for me for at least 4-5 years.
For those that hit 1200+ on there 8500 LV set. Can you pass at least 10 run of test# 5 of memtest+ at anything above 1160 and up? I can boot at 1200 but memtest test#5 stable is a different story.
You among all seem to have the best LV 8500 set, so jealous. None of my two sets would come close.
I don't get it if you can spend that kind of money on one processor why not invest in a better cooling instead of just doing air.
Sorry to hear that. It's so funny that it happen to me also with my LV Blade. UPS driver decided out of all the package he received that day he had to pick mine to misroute. Normally I would get...
What bios are you on? I had the same strap problem with bios f8, after upgrade to f9 the problem went away.
Same exact oc for my platinum LV 8500 set with the GA-EP45-UD3P and P5Q-E. Anything pass 1150 with 1.9v or less will failed memtest.
MY Blade LV 8500 is perfectly good up to 1170 with 1.9v,...
Thank you. Just so use to Asus board. Still figuring out whether I like this board or the P5Q-E better. So far the P5Q-E give me higher overclock compare to the UD3P with my Q6600. Need to play...
One silly question, how do you change performance level with this board? I don't see it anywhere. I'm on F9 bios. Thanks in advance.
Cool, that's what I was hoping for. Found some in stock and couldn't resist so I ordered a set. Hope this oc well together with my P5Q-E and Q6600.
How are the oc ability with the platinum? Don't see anyone reporting about the platinum low voltage line only the Blade low voltage ones. I mean what's the different other than the heatspreader?
Yes go back to 1406 official. For me it's the most stable, don't get me wrong ket's modded bios is awesome and thank him deeply for that but 1406m seem to cause me more instability than the official...
I used the flash drive option with my P5Q-E. It's simple just follow direction from Koda and you'll be okay, if not then cd is fine too! I tried both option but didn't feel the need to keep wasting...
Sure it does, that's how I flash back to 1406 from 1703. Good Luck!
Sorry to say floppy disk wouldn't work either as the bios is to big to fit in there. You need to flash from a flash drive if you want to use dos utility.
6.600
Same here 20-30 pass plus maximum memory available. Some time to get windows to release the maximum memory available I run a short 1-2 pass for about two rotation before proceed to 20-30 pass, this...
You are awesome! again fast service as usual. Thank you very much.
