Would be cool, and good for AMD if true, but I doubt it. Probably just nonsense from OCUK.

I'm just sad that in the Intel camp the saying is 'every board is pretty much good to go' and here we are trying to decipher hieroglyphs in order to figure out which one, if *any* of them, are worth...
I hope not. I really don't want to mess around with the base clock, that's just asking for gremlins.
With memory frequency being so important for performance, do any of the boards offer high multipliers for memory overclocking?
Good to know we can rely on XS for proper coverage, of the two Chinese sites that jumped the gun on the NDA one didn't bother overclocking at all and the other one just overclocked it to 4GHz without...
My signature has been a Nehalem die shot since ca 2008... and today I finally found a good Zen die shot.
Feels good to be back on the AMD hype train!
Sat here on SB too and I'm waiting for this one. Unless it's a complete failure I am definitely getting it.
wccftech is completely disreputable garbage. They manage to report some correct things every once in a while, but that's bound to happen by accident when you spew make-believe 24/7.
I just hope the CPU will be 'good enough' to bring AMD back into the green and to let me build an AMD box again without feeling like I am missing out. There's no need for Zen to beat Intel's top of...
It is truly interesting that Supermicro would allow overclocking by default in their BIOS. I thought this was something they walked circles around!
Is this feature what they call Hyper-Speed?
I...
Hey guys,
I'm looking for a case that replicates what you find in machines like the Mac Pro tower, Dell Precision, and HP z820s. Basically; modularity, hot-swap hard drive cages, tool-less design...
Interesting numbers :)
Very interested. Price, however, will probably be beyond insane.
Also, if they're really launching in April and not Sept/Oct - they will not include 10.7, and maybe not even Sandy Bridge!
Going...
The ideal correlated color temperature is 4300-4700 Kelvin as this is close to daylight. Most incandescent bulbs emit 3000K CCT light. High performance halogen and xenon filled bulbs might reach...
Certainly, there's nothing special about the machine in isolation.
I just thought it was real peculiar to see such a machine offered by a company whose website is NOT decorated with anime...

Is this the world's first professional, enterprise-ready liquid cooled and factory overclocked...
Preordered it in May - it's worth it so far.

This is schweet.
Will the fruit logo be gone too?:yepp:
The box is too big. Big box = big dollars.
The metal corners support this theory.
They should have covered a smaller, neater box instead with a small, neat card for people with small, neat...
YouTube's compression has completely destroyed those videos. I'm sure they looked schweet before they were uploaded to YouTube, but as it stands now they're so grainy, pixelated and full of artifacts...
HPC applications - calculations for whatever fancy stuff people like me(us?) don't understand, weather forecasting, physics, making black holes, blowing up the earth, etc:shrug:
Hey guys, been out of the loop on this for a while.
Has anyone come up with any solutions/hax to make the i7 1366 CPUs compatible with ECC, or are we fubar'd?
Oh great, more NF200. At this level they should have gone for two X58s.
Seriously guys. It's just an IGP on the CPU. AMD calls it an 'APU', that's just marketing to make it sound more fancy than it really is. Same as the graphics cards have 1600 and 512 'cores'.
