Pretty good generally. I just got a Powerbook, figured I would try out some apple products for a bit. Not too much into the PC scene lately though.

Heh, I had forgotten all about this thread, but it was brought back to my attention by STEvil (thanks man :D). Unfortunately, this project never got completed, for a few reasons: The engineering...
Yep, I use a 13.8V 23A supply for my TEC, it works fine.
BF1942, BF: Vietnam, UT2004...

My desk right now... I have another one I don't use except to store boxes on it, lol.
Heh, you should see the funny issues I have with this game. Check these screenshots out:

Thread moved.
Because that's the size of the block's base. The space for the TEC is only for 40mmx40mm TECs.
the 172W TEC is 40mmx40mm, so if you're using that. it's fine. A larger TEC will not fit.
Buggiest. Game. EVAR.
Not bad, I still like DC though. And at least for now, I REALLY like UT2004, much better than this game.
Not by itself. If you get one that can put out 33A or or more, you should be good. You can use an ATX suppy if you put some kind of load on the 5V rail (say a 1 Ohm resistor, so that it draws 5A).
August 12th to 15th.
Possibly, with more voltage to the RAM.
I've run 1.9V in my 1700+ with a SLK947-U before, but it got pretty hot. With a TEC, I've used 2.15V on the same CPU.
As to all the memory info, well I have no clue ;). I had some stuff like that on my KD7-RAID and I had no idea what it all did. Command per clock is probably command rate, and should be set to T1...

I just bought a Plantronics Audio .90 today. I really like it. Sounds WAY better than my POS I had before.

I'm planning on going, along with about 80% of my gaming clan. Anyone else here going to go?
Happy Birthday.
With that setup, Andrew, one loses the advantages of the cooling tower, which is to provide sub-ambient temperatures. So the cooling will definitely be inferior, no matter how many radiators are...
Nice Game. My best score was ~350000. Closest I've gotten to that is 234k.
It won't be as good as straight out bong cooling though, since there will be some loss with the heatercore. The advantage of that solution is that you still get cooling (depending on how the setup...
