Im not sure I would call it a improvement
15% increase in clock speed
20% increase in power use so it now uses more than 1080ti and twice as much as the 1060
10% increase in performance
Making...
So when was amd ass ripper coming out?
there getting ugly enough it cant be far away all ass no class
maybe they could throw a 128mb+ l4 cache on the 2700x and call it 2800x
wont make any difference to the likes of cinbench where amd is already winning
but it could make a big difference in programs...
that comment makes no sense
if your gpu bottlnecked badly enough it doesn't matter if your running a 7 year old cpu or the latest and greatest...

I would go with whatever gives you the shortest loop without any tight bends
provided flow rate is good order doesn't really matter as the water shouldn't heat up much more than 1c as it goes round...
2700u 2.2-3.8GHz 4MB L3 12\15\25W TDP? is slightly slower in 3dm physics than then r5 1400 at 3.2-3.4GHz 8MB L3 65W TDP
figured as much but with ram prices having gone up another ~35% this month with limited cpu stock its only going to get worse (for us) as more cpu become available
nice now all we need is for somebody preferably samsung to bring more ram production online and hopefuly drop prices from $320au for 16g 3200 back down below $160 where it use to be
Broadwell-E is a fair bit faster than Skylake-X for gaming so i would imagine its more popular with those that want to use them for a bit of gaming
Wonder if there bringing forward a Skylake-X...
only way it would make much difference is if there was a change in the tightness of bends maybe removing 90 fittings for a gentler hard tube bend and i doubt you have any kinks do you?
hmm 1.5v official default on a ddr4 ram kit many thought that to be the upper\risky edge for safe 24\7 usage on sky\karby
not that much of a stretch it sits between 1060 3g and 1060 6g on average at 1080p while taking the lead at 4k

not bad wonder how many platters they squeezed in there
two years on and all they have really managed is to die shrink fury x for a ~20% clock speed increase
less memory bandwidth than fury x but more vram
no surprise since x580 isn't all that efficient and 1080ti oc models can hit 320w stock 384w overclocked so its not really that much higher than whats currently out there
Shame the 200mm fan is only 800RPM Static Pressure 1,08 mm H₂O isn't really enough to replace the Silverstone AP181 on my rad
founder 1080 review with old drivers 62fps

agreed but it can really depend on the game selection
in doom for example fury x sits right between 1070 and 1080 right where that shows vega to be
however then there is games like anno 2205 where...
doesn't really matter if all they use the engine for is narrow hallway stile maps the game could probably do over 100fps on a pentium
seems kinda low considering a rx 480 at 1400mhz can score over 7k gpu
i think its in with a chance with 4096 Stream Processors vs 2304 on the rx 580 which is supposed to catch up to the gtx 1070 performance through ncu vs gcn among other ipc improvements
time will tell
thats full system power use the gpu is more like 250w (230-270) edging towards 300w overclocked
not that different to titan x
wait for vega? is there anything to suggest they are going to release...
some good ideas above and it will be great to see just how much you can improve the ipc in cache\memory sensitive software like games although you may need to wait for bios updates to get the most...
