Both are good Boards. I have the ASUS P8Z77-V Pro and what I miss is that You cannot set the VTT Voltage in case You like to OC Your Memory.
In this case the Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H has more Options....
And this is a shame! A Gigabyte UD5 what cost the same like an Asus Z77 Pro makes here the difference. Asus saved Money at the wrong place.
This kind of limitations let me as an Asus Fan next time...
