Thanks for the tips, I think I'll go with option 4 as it pulls cold air through the radiator and maintains a positive case pressure to prevent dust buildup

I'm putting together a new build and I'm trying to figure out what direction all the fans should face. I have a rear 140mm fan (this Corsair one, 1,200RPM, 66CFM listed), a front 230mm fan (this...

I don't know what the interface for XBMC is, but my Logitech Harmony works great in Windows 7 Media Center. I use Girder to map the infrared codes to keyboard commands.
Depends on what color space each of your components is expecting, only way to know is to try both and see which produces the correct colors.
How's your sound setup? For just picture quality Deja Vu always impresses, but if your audio setup is up to it the opening sequence in Top Gun will knock anyones socks off :D
Agreed, WEP is pretty bad. One of the project options for my introductory Cryptography class was to crack the WEP encryption scheme.

MKV is just a container, it can contain virtually any combination of video/audio/subtitles. The problems I'm talking about don't have anything to do with the graphics horsepower, but are due to bugs...
The fact that a movie may have multiple Bluray releases doesn't help either. A movie might have an American version, a Russian version, a Japanese version, a German version, a French version, etc....
Articles may not contain the information you need. I don't know what your planned usage is, but my media collection contains many L5.1 1080p files that play fine with an nVidia card using CUDA but...
I don't know anyone who pirates more movies than I do, nor do I know anyone who buys more DVD's than I do. There is a lot of anecdotal evidence to support this correlation but I don't know if there...
CoreAVC with an nVidia card is definitely the easiest and most reliable way to get hardware-accelerated playback of HD video. An ATI card with DXVA just isn't nearly as reliable. Even after...
If Windows is torturing users what is linux doing? :D
And he seems to contradict himself pretty badly:
Agreed, even some bookshelves would beat PC speakers by a mile. I got the M-Audio StudioPro 3 a few years ago for college when I didn't have room for anything bigger and they just don't cut it
Just to be different I'm going to recommend the Zippy PSL-6C00V. The thing would power a small city with no ripple or voltage drop.
Watched Babel last night thought it was meh, also watching a short-lived VH1 series called Free Radio. It's really hard to find since it was never released on DVD but let the demons be your guide.
That's from the season premiere of South Park, I'm sure a few people have seen it :p:
I had a tube come off during leak testing and soak a motherboard :( The tubing wasn't fully onto the barb because it was just temporary but I definitely applied a good amount of force when putting it...

It's an April fool's joke from over a year ago. There is no spyware hidden in KB971033 that scans your computer for terrorism-related materials.

FireFox has been out since 2004 and is only on version 4, Chrome came out very recently and is already on version 11, making it undeniably superior.
