Well they "opened" the 90 degree bends quite a bit to compensate for that. I bet it acts more like a sweep than a hard 90 degree.

You get safety through redundancy, the same power draw so heat dump is the same, better pressure & flow in your loop.
And you still retain a very quiet set-up.
Where did I see that italian one that was 3 stories high. Btm was for the rads, top for the mobo, & the middle for the drives, PSU, & optical.
