Did you install any bios updates recently? Could be capacitors on the motherboard going bad or maybe a heat pocket in the case due to some layout change. Tons of possibilities.

On a related thought also might want to check what the monitor section of your motherboard says it is giving the ram. I picked up an MSI board (A88X-E45) and when set to 1.65v it only gives 1.608v...
