That's actually AMD's fault. Catalyst 12.1 did not support 7970 for some reason.

If the price is right, GK104 can be a killer chip and do lot's of good for nVidia. People should stop always asuming the worst.

My "black" pcb card does 1450 3dmark11 .. his new brown card did 1575.

Indeed, a slim pot can actually handle quite alot.
Just need some torching, and most of all a bit more attention than a fat one.

Just tested OCZ Freeze, without IHS.
Even tho me and elmor have tested this many times (with bad results), today it worked much better.

Tested alot of stuff the last couple of days. Tried the Gelid Extreme thermalpaste, and it worked surprisingly good. Actually, it works better then Freeze, atleast at the same temperature.
