I had the blackline 2x4GB 2133 kit in the regular extreme4 for about a week without any issues.

My xtreme4 only had a divider to 2133 when I had a 2500k installed. After swapping it out for a 3570k, memory divider is now going up to 2800. This was on UEFI 1.3

Nobody can tell you for sure if your chip with do 2.8... you just have to try it. What are you using for cooling and how do your load temps look at your current speed?
