Price drop is very nice and all .... good time to double up your 290/290x setup ...... but they really need new stuff .... its just a no brainer to go with 970. Wonder if they can do 290x performance...
The gains are just MASSIVE upgrading from 680 ..... if I can score a 4k screen (unless i decide to build a rc plane or rebuild my bike) im dreaming of 2 x 670. When you get your new cpu I would LOVE...

Honestly the 295x doesnt seem all that overpriced. Onboard 290x two of them full speed and none of issues with standard 290x. Its a great card for the fans ... I think people with multiple 290's...

Hey nice speculation there Ace ATI has improved their cards in the past with a higher clock variant .... So these are a tad bit better and they can cut some more power off the chips by cooling them...
