spot on sergio f7e was last bios that was ok f3h seems similar but all the newer 10 levels of llc i can't get stable at the same volts which the older bioses just walk it

yep works ok on p67 i'm still using my b2 board flashed with the z68 bios and all working as it should:up:

hiya mate not really tried much on the f3 or 4a but i do know that all the later bios needed a jump of 2 notches on vcore to have the same speed prime stable

i,ve noticed that the f8 bioses need a couple of notches more vcore than the f7 bioses for the same overclock , about 0.01 volt , oc nub what difference did the f8 bioses make in other 3d marks ,...

i don't know with 4 sticks but i have ram t=rated at 1.65volt not really sandy ram and it'll run all day long at 2133 at 7-10-7-26 at lowish volts 1.6 , so personally i'd keep your ram as its good ,...
yeh mike the batch codes mmean nothing with these sandies same batch code i have one needed 1.65++ to run 5300+ mhz and this one needs 1.5 , accordingly the c batch ones are better, i only have 4gb...

dinos stated that easy tune didn't work in xp to adjust bclk just tried with latest intel management soft installed and you can adjust bclk in xp no help to me as i hit the frequency wall with mine...
i got one from ocuk and that was L040B307 and got one from local pc shop and that was l040b307 as well one needed very high core 1.65ish at 5373 and other same batch only needed 1.5 at 5387 both...
thats the ticket w7 has ide and ahci drivers built in whereas xp you need to either slipstream the dric=vers to the cd or f6 drivers on windows setup from a floppy
