its mostly done to protect ' screw cutting' area inside the hole, because
powder 'coating' layer is much thicker and harder than ordinary paint cover.

You need to remove all wires , plastic or rubber parts .. because power coating
is finshed in the ''owen'' ~ 110-120 C degrees .. so remove all stuff
what may melt , burn or any parts that cannot...
