I've had two 3941B's, both were dogs. One wouldn't crack 4ghz with 1.5v. But hey, maybe I got the only 2 losers in that batch. My 3849b018 does 4.5@1.35 though. I'd return it personally.

Ram is only at 1286mhz. My ocz kit refuses to be linx stable with the 2:8 multi. Timings are tight however at 6-6-6-18...

Since your PCs are faster computers, I'd go with pc. Like everyone else said, PS is basically the same between mac and pc. But, it's optimized for 64-bit on PC, and the hardware excelleration...

The i45 I got in the mail the other day had a piece of plastic covering the cpu socket as well. I wasn't lucky enough to get free vaseline, or custom soldered caps though. My last 2 boards suffered...
