Nice indeed!
I traded my Gskills in for €240 + 2*256mb Corsair LL v1.1 BH5 chips, so now I'm looking for a 2*512 replacement :D
Does anyone know where to find the matched 1gb kit in Europe? www.cheeep.de has OCZ VX for €177, Twinmoss UTT for €120 and Mushkin Blue Line 512mb blocks for €66 a piece.
Nonetheless I'd like matched pair :)
I bought mine from outpost.com who ships international, $119USD a matched pair, plus airbourne courier, plus customs and taxes(if applicable).Quote:

looking at the markings from the top Looks like the Green one is the New UTT and the Black is the old BH5. The spacing on the silver dots are different further appart on the chips on the green PCB.
Both sticks togather will run 5,2,2,2.0 215FSB 3.2V and 6,3,3,2.5 240FSB 3.2V
They did get a tad warm so I gettoed a fan inplace.

I got mine delivered last week and they are both green PCB with B6U815 on it.Quote:

got mine running at 220 2X512 2 2 2 5 timings 3.4 volts
I need some help
I bought 2x512mb Muhskin cas2 128x64 --> OUTPOST
They are at 119$, but i have seen another 2x512mb Mushkin cas2 64x64, but they are 219$, here. Did i order the correct ones???
I am from Spain and it will not be easy if i have to returned them, i have ordered 2 of them (total of 262$ --> ~200€)...
@HitMaker: Yes, you have the right ones. They should be BH-UTT.
Thanks man, i had read the entire thread but i was not sure..Quote:

Funny because I bought two sticks at the same time you did and got the same thing. One black, one green.Quote:

Once I go above 243 my only hitch is I get not exact in round errors on SuperPi. I can remedy that by lowering the multi to 9:10 and then I can continue to raise the fsb. Once I hit 250 I have to raise the vcore which I am not too thrilled at doing any more than I have to. I am happy with 245 at the moment though.
My order has been cancelled  :( , i dont understand, i hope they give me an explanation, they have an international shipment for nothing :stick:
Any other store there that send to Europe??
Thanks a lot.
You can try order it from Bushkin.com, but I do not know if they ship international, if not, maybe they can refer you to some store in Europe.
@HitMaker: It seems that Outpost.com has recently cancelled several international orders without any given reason.
They don't even seem to know what "Verified by Visa" means.
I will not bother to place an order with them. :shakes:
I ordered 2x512mb from outpost, and they've sent them to me in the uk. Only thing is I'm not sure if I wanted to risk it with them, and did send them a message asking them to cancel my order, and I was going to get twinmos bh5 here in the uk. But they've been sent now, so lets hope customs don't pop up the cost, and that they perform well.
Try www.cheeep.de
Though UTT is not guaranteed! Otherwise look for Twinmos BH5, they go for €71 a stick ;)
What memory is it? http://www.mushkin.com/epages/Mushki...ct/View/991429 ??
it's blue but placed in "Hi-Performance" category and it's 2-3-2
Got my Mushkin Blue from Outpost/Frys today (finally after ordering it friday and requesting next day shipping/saturday delivery). Results arent good :(

System specs are in sig. Running processor at 11x200 for testing. B6U815 PCB on both sticks (green)
Popped them in, 3.0V and 2-2-2-10. 3 errors in test 4, a bunch in test 5. Stopped it there...
Ok. That's no good. Reboot.
3.0V and 2-3-2-10. Test 4 has 1 error, a bunch in test 5. Stopped it there...
Ok. That's no good. Reboot.
3.0V and 2-2-3-10. Test 4 has 3 errors, a bunch in test 5 again. Stopped it there.
Now, I am somewhat frustrated, but I realise, "hey, this is a full gig of CAS 2 memory for 120USD. Thats a great deal. I can be fine with 2-3-3-10 @ 2.8V. Alot better than what I had no doubt..."
So I try it @ stock speeds.
2.8V and 2-3-3-10. Test 4 has 1 error, a bunch in test 5. Stopped it there.
Tried it again and looped test 5:
http://www.davidandjemma.com/images/...T/100_3387.jpg
So, it doesn't run stock speeds @ stock voltage. That's no good.
So at this point I call Fry's. They say I can return them and order some more if I want since it's within 30 days or get a refund. I tell them I just want ram that works as advertised. So he gives me Muskin's #.
So I call Muskin. They say:
- We dont support non 400FSB processors at this timing at 1:1
- Try upping the voltage to 2.8V
- Turn all settings like "performance" or whatever to optimal or auto
- You can RMA them, but if they're good we'll send them back to you
So, I'm currently testing them in my roommate's 1.8A / Asus P4SDX combo. Not completely through the test, but errors in test 4 again. Test 5 was clear though.
Thoughts?
I don't think these sticks like nForce2. I recently got hold of some and they hated running 1t with whatever volatge. In my DFI Infinity i had them running up to 210 DC with CPC on and around 3.3v !!! Crazily high volatge for such low FSB. My BH-5 can do 260 with 3.3v :stick:
But with 2t each single stick can do 245 absolute rock stable SuperPi 32m with 3.5v.Tried them out in my friends DFI NF4 rig and they topped out at 225 with 3.5v DC it.
This isn't unique to Mushkin because other UTT do just as bad on NF2. You need some real sweet sticks to get 1t running at high-ish FSB on NF2. Well thats what you get with un-speedbinned IC's at such a low price point. If you want consistency you gotto Pay more $$$$$
@HitMaker, try again becuase on the order went through the next time i tried.Quote:

The spec listed voltages as 2.6-2.8v, unlike the UTT/BH5.Quote:

IMO the changes of getting good memory (blue line)from Outpost is getting lower everyday because people are sending back bad overclocking stuff.
RMA'ed memory will be tested at stockspeed an reselled
another thing you have to think of is mushkin is pre testing these things for 500@2,2,2 timings which means the ones that dont pass will probly go into the blue line. Dont expect to many blue lines to hit 500 anymore.
my sticks came today, excellent service from outpost, 2 days to deliver to the uk. I won't be able to test them until I get my venice (hopefully in the next week), but I'd like to know if they use the bh or ch die utt. Mine have a green brainpower pcb, but I'm not sure how your supposed to take the heatspreader off, i don't want to just pull at something and break my new ram. Any suggestions?
There is an eralier post from Mushkin rep who said the green pcb in a matched pair are guaranteed to have the new BH5.
There is also a post earlier showeing how to take the heat spreader off.
going through the earlier posts, there are people with the heatspreaders off, but they don't say how they took them off. Its probably very simple, but I'd rather play it safe.
