Allright mates, I don't want to annoy you but need some help with my mushinks.
Here is my current status:
Got 4 Mushkins, 3 can be used (s.a. why)
My motherboard is a Abit KV8 pro (S754), i'm running a very old modded Bios version because it is my only chance to give high voltage (up to 3.32V) at the moment.
One stick (the first i tried) seems to be very bad to me, i didn't want to run the default specs nor 2-2-2-5 at 3.3V, that's why for the moment i would like to concentrate on the other two sticks
Both of em pass memtest (and test5 loops) at 220Mhz 2-2-2-5 3.3V
Both of em show some errors at 225Mhz (one seems to be a bit better, sometimes passes without any error, but most likely will produce 1-2 errors a loop, the other one gives me 2 or more errors /loop)
My settings are the ones Dumo used (
link) They helped me getting less error at 230Mhz with the "good" stick but they decreased the "good" stick's performance at 225Mhz (had it up to 10 loops memtest5 errorfree + one whole memtest loop)
My general Question would be what you guys think is holding me back?
Did I just get 3 Crappy sticks?
Is it my MoBo / old Bios?
Any of my bios settings?
I would like to hope that everything might become good but after 6 hours it's quite hard :(
