Quiet a weird problem here:
I always get one error in test7 memtest (v1.52 if I remember) and I always get it at 95.5mb?
Tried 2-3-2-6 1T as well as 3-3-3-11 2T but doesn't make a difference :stick:
Both at 2.88V VDimm (max I can give it atm)
I'll now trie another stick, but what do you guys think it is? Corrupt stick? Not enough Voltage?
ashe.....only 2.88 ? omg that's nothing
try 220 2-2-2-5 !!!! not 2-3-2-6
Hi Mushkin Source, nice to meet ya ;)Quote:

Yea, i'll flash my bios to be able to give ~3.2VQuote:

You think it is the low voltage holding me off? Would be UTT chips then, wouldn't it?
Ashe, where do you live.. contact our RMA dept and we will swap it out for you...
800-569-1868 or post in our forums.

running 2-2-2-5 @3.08V
Did I get crappy sticks or am I doing something wrong? :slap:
edit: passed memtest @ 3.3V (Skipped 3.2V), no going for some oc
Tiger, UTT is not BH-5, UTT is actually the new CH-5. The BH-5 used in the Mushkin Blue is actual BH-5 ICs, not UTT. They are not Speed Binned or tested so you are taking a chance, but so far performance has been good with them. I should be getting my 4 sticks tomorrow or Friday, then I'll be stressing them all weekend and finding the best 2.
And its these ones:

so do the dual packs come with black BP pcb also? I love these black pcb :D
awwww you have to be kidding......i cant tell my dad i want to return the sticks the day i got them :(
i bought two seperate ones, but at least i got black pcb
:dammit:
Lolz ok cool, sweet to have someone that builds these so close. So part # 990992 is bh5 and ch5, but the dual packs are bh5 ic's right (PART#991140)? Of which you are making 4000 more of yes?Quote:

if you get the dual packs, then it it guaranteed bh.

er...is PCB color just looks or is there a difference between the modules with blue and black PCB's?
Hmm, I wonder if you can do that and then have outpost credit the money back.Quote:

#2 doesn't fit into the DIMM-Slot :D
#3 at least hits 220 2-2-2-5 @3.3V
#4 is currently doing 225 2-2-2-5 @3.3V but still gets 3 errors 16 loops memtest (test5)
Don't want do give up yet but it's pretty depressing to have 3 crappy sticks and one that cannot even be tested :(
I'll try to do a VDimm-Mod and get a newer bios, but my hope is fading :shakes:
nevermind
EDITED
I wouldn't say that ;)Quote:

So you guys are telling me I got 4 BH-5 sitting here? That just sounds too good to be true for the price. My luck has turned upward for once...

That's the spirit, don't give up on 'em yet. List some of your gear and we might be able to help a little better. You might just need to fiddle with a BIOS setting or two to get your sticks to sing. :banana:Quote:
