i disagree having had 2 sets of VX and one of twinmos UTT all doing above 265MHz at 3.5V.

Thats true but i think the vx has garanti up to 3.5 v
They are actually rated 3,5v + 5% makes 3,675v
so, i can rma my vx if it gets errors on 3.5v while 3.3v at the same clocks is stable!?
I just meant 3,675 is max volt you can feed it without loosing yr warranty.

Any way this is some GREAT ram..you can get a little more performance out of by using cas 1.5 and not loose any OC...But i love mine better than BH-5 but hell it is CH-5-UTT...some new BH-5-UTT is cooming out here in the near future though...

Don't know mate, I haven't used memtest since I got rid of my DFI board, it was all right when I had memtest built in, but too much trouble for now...
'sides...if you're not 32m SPi stable, you're not fully memtest stable, I would imagine...
and some stuff in the piccy...I think I like the ram at cas2 anyway for now, at least until I start heavily benching it again, waiting for some vmods on my card so maybe next week...
Still not quite 4 meg stable yet, but it'll burn in I'm sure, and if it doesn't...well I have 2 other 24/7 rigs, and they run tccd...I want more speed, not more stability, but that's just me...

I've added a sub-37 pifast in there as well, it ran 269 at 1.5-2-2-5 long enough to take that, but I didn't want to risk losing it to a blue screen :eek:

Generally I've found that you add voltage to compensate for instability, not just for the sake of it...
If you find that 3.3v works, and then you up your speed or tighten your timings and THEN if you have instability you add a little voltage, you might find that 3.5v works for you...
My FX-55 is unstable at 1.85vcore...but rock stable at 1.73vcore, both at 3.2ghz...I'm not gonna complain about that lol but if I can get some better cooling that'll let me up the clocks a bit more, I may need that extra voltage to stabilize it, and may find that it ISN'T unstable at those higher volts when the speed is actually using it...

but because my mem is fine at 260/3.3 i was really hoping that it would do 270 at 3.5-3.6v so i could run it 1:1
and i thought since ocz gives a lifetime warranty for 3.5v they expect all of their VX sticks to like that much volts

How long have you been using them? After a while of burning in, they should stabilize at higher speeds I would think...
I had just found a setting for 270mhz that was working before I had some issues, so your will probably do that speed for you with a little playing, and possibly with some bios changes...
Mine is on NF3 Neo2, and your volts from the DFI(if that's what you're using?) might be more predictable that my booster...
