Thanks for all the help. :D
Good luck to your next adventure in life! :toast: :toast:
Good luck mate, thanks for all the help you've given us.
Foxconn have lost a valuable asset imo
:toast:

Good luck with wherever life takes you next, and thanks for the great support with Foxconn boards!
excuse me whilst I go and dream of an insane balls-out laptop after this comment :

Saaya!! All the best in your future endevours!! You were an invaluable asset at Foxconn & your support & guidance will certainly be missed. Hope to hear from you soon.:clap::D
Hop in your canoe, go across they bay and do something with those ECS Black version boards. I figure they need something done to catch people's attention. ;)
Or wait, I think the HQ's still in Taiwan. You won't even need to use the canoe.
You might even be able to improve on the color schemes:

(Alright, I admit, that board is old, but you could tell them that mounting components to the PCB isn't necessarily a bad thing.) :D
What a shame, I wish you the best. I totally agree with UtNorris and others. They dont know what they are losing. Its just a matter of time before your next journey. We all know no matter what you choose you will be an assett to the company you choose. Best of luck and hope to see you soon
Good luck bro with whatever you're gonna do!!!
thanks man :toast:
i hope it doesnt last forever tho ^^
thanks man, yeah ill see if they are interested, oskar wu is a nice guy and it would be interesting to work with him... i always liked dfi boards, yet their support and boards could need some polishing off... so i think i could fit in there, i just dont know if they are interested...
thanks :toast:
hehe, well there are tons of threads and if you need anything, just shoot me a pm :)
and thanks :toast:
mhhh, lets just say it was a constant uphill battle to get things done... their company structure isnt exactly perfect for a fast ttm, innovative highend product...
your welcome :toast:
thanks :toast:
hmmm my advice to you, dont go with the flow, keep your own standards up, keep pushing, try every possible option to get your goal, and on the side, look for other opportunities where you might be appreciated more :D
well they are cutting down qf, its not like i had a choice... i got warned before that this "might" happen but decided to try and pull this through, something i promised when foxconn originally hired me in june last year...
ill ask again... maybe i can get some semi officially... :D
i didnt, but i might still... unlikely tho, but ill try...
sorry btw, i never got back to you to let you know that i survived that taxi ride
thanks george! :toast:
well the firmware works but not all features work, and since they never tested it thoroughly theres a chance that a combination of settings or some scenarios might result in the panel setting wrong voltages and possibly killing some hw... very unlikely, but as a company they cant release it without propper full testing...
thanks, ill check it out :toast:
thanks :toast:
thank you :toast:
thanks!, it was nice working with all of you :toast:
heh, maybe... ill check it out :D
your welcome :toast:
heheh, yeah msi has nice tweakable laptops but they are all amd so far, and asus has some beefy ones but they are more like portable desktops...
thanks! and likewise :toast:
thanks :toast:
hehehe, yeah i remember that board... and yes, the pcb looks amazingly empty component wise... :D
idk about ecs, are they still trying to enter the highend market?
i think they dont even have an x58 board right?
thanks man :toast:
thanks for all the encouragement guys, it was really a nice time... if you ever run into a dead end just lmk and ill see what i can do, i have the contacts of the engineers so i can give them a nudge if theres a big problem :D
Happy Camping there in Taiwan Saaya, you still know how to speak German after all that time? :)
Good luck mate :toast:
What about J&W Sascha? They're not well known but they've showed there interest in overclocking in a few motherboards recently. It could be a big challenge for a guy like you.
I'm a little late but not too late...
Thanks saaya for your great support and all you did for me and my team. :yepp: I always enjoyed it to meet you, especially G|C last year was pure fun. :D
I hope that you can find a company where your profile fits in and where you can achieve your goals - hopefully for a much longer period of time.
foxconn seriously has no good mobos outside of quantum force. guess they will go back to being an OEM, and this forum can start ignoring them again:wasntme:
My friend was a pleasure to meet you in foxconn, I am sure that wherever you go you will always be number one....
Good luck for next venture :toast:
Marco
They actually had two the last time I checked, and they didn't look awful designwise. I assume their "Black" line is aimed at enthusiasts, so there's work to be done for you. :)Quote:

ehhh xavier! thanks :D
im not sure what to think of them... a lot of their boards are very very very cheap copies of other designs, though some are interesting... like their below atx series
thanks! :toast:
heh, yeah i guess...
thanks man :toast:
same to you, i hope everything works out well at your new job and you have a lot of fun! :)
heh, i didnt even hear of them... so i suppose they really need some PR baaadly :D
so yeah, maybe i should check them out... im not sure how serious other board makers are about comitting to the enthusiasts though, in these times...
We buy at least 80 ECS boards / cpu combo's a year for cheap builds and there pretty good really (of corse no overclocking on them most customers are 60+ years old LOL)
But thay help make a liveing ..
Hit them up Saaya ! would Love to have you around there !!
I'm pretty sure you can relax and breathe alot more here. :D
Good luck saaya.
-tam2-
huh? why there? ^^
Saaya, if you're still searching for a new, fresh start, take a look at ASRock. I always liked their boards, but one always had a feeling that the boards were finished 95%. You could start a new affordable OC line of boards and fill that 5% gap.
Just my 2 cents :D
Best Regards,
Niko
