Adding 140mm Radiator: Yay or Nay?
I7-5820K on Asus X99-A II
Swiftech H240-x2 (CLC with 280mm radiator)
4.5Ghz (45 x100) @1.35vcore, 4Ghz Cache @1.25v, and 1.95v VCCIN
No issue with OCCT running for 8hr, Ambient 21~21c and average loading temperature on all cores at around 87~88c, Realbench/Aida/XTU are in the low to mid 70s on full load, and World of Warships gaming in low to mid 40c. Would it make any difference to add a small 140mm Black Ice GTX radiator to the loop to keep the temperature down further? If so how many degree can I expect to drop? Based on the high flow rate from the review I?ve seen on the 140GTX, the MCP30 water pump from this CLC shouldn?t have any issue to handle additional radiator. Thoughts and comments?
