Fantastic. I wish I was able to do this last week but my order was cancelled and I decided to wait until I return from Europe. I'm gonna reorder and do my own testing then.
I can't wait to see your results. :D

More results @ low BCLK
This is realistically "pretty much it" in terms of what the RAM can do at "sensible" volts. At stock voltage, I dont feel that theres much space to do anything. Any other performance points a user wants, will need more juice.

Damn... wrong MSI CC window. Mute point, its not consistently accurate anyway.
Next up will be Memtest numbers...towards the end of the week.
Semi-final conclusion:
G.Skill should not be apologetic or ashamed of this RAM. Its focus was never extreme OC- The kit was hyped up by the community. The binning point and maturity of DDR3 means the stock timings are do-able with existing ICs but high freq. operation is only a bonus. The stock vDIMM improvement IS a big jump over existing I7 RAM and the lower heat output is welcome for well-specced HTPC, media and gaming rigs. I might include power consumption numbers in time to come.
For hardcore overclocking and benching... look elsewhere. Anyone heard of that Ripjaw or Trident series? :p That stuffs value for money!
Thanks to Frank and G.Skill for the sample!!!
Nice tests man ;)! Looking at the numbers these seems like BBSE's binned for low voltage. Am I right?
Try 6-9-6-28 and 1,65volt, mine is memtest stable at 1950-1975mhz, guess its the motherboard thats limiting because i cant go any higher with lower timings, an old dfi x58 t3eh8..
Thanks Kenny I have been wondering about these rams ...
Not just SPi32M stable!

So far, those are the best value-for-voltage MemTest results I have. 6-7-6 MHz to come. Will edit this post :)
This particular kits doesnt seem fond of tRCD= 7. Works pretty well at -8 and -9 timings
Hmm for the price this ram is looking surprisingly good, BTW not on the Intel side of things, What does BCLK represent? a timing or what? what does higher BCLK get u over a low BCLK?
Dragon
BCLK===FSB===Base HT
BCLK x Multi= CPU speed. I dont know why but I find it easier to hit RAM MHz with low volts by using low BCLK with a high RAM multiplier. I can clutch at straws but I cant give a concrete answer as to why.

How far did this mem scale with voltage for you guys? My kit peaks with 1.55v and going to 1.60v or higher gives less Mhz.
Hey Zac! Given the range of results i've seen from these kits, I dont think theres a set IC pick for them.
Hey mate :) Im pretty sure they are all BBSE by how they scale with trcd but Im wondering about the flavor. Most BBSE Ive seen scales ok till at least 1.65-1.70v but my kit stops at 1.55v. I also found you get alot more Mhz moving from 1.35v to 1.55v.
sweet, thanks for the reviews, this ram popped up recently for a great price and I know what I can expect compared to ripjaws.
I saw these for the same price and am wondering why? same stuff just higher latency bin? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231320
or are these the ones that REALLY fly?
I have the Eco 1600mhz 7-8-7 kit, and am having trouble getting it to post at 1800mhz. I have an i7 860 on a Maximus III Formula, running at a mild overclock, 180bclk x21, with turbo and HT on. I'd rather the ram run at 1800mhz vs 1440mhz, but no matter what I do I can't get it to post at that speed. Tried various combination's of upping the DRAM voltage to 1.6v, upping the IMC voltage to 1.35, and loosening the timings up to even 9-9-9-28, but no matter what I do, it won't post at 1800mhz. Any suggestions to try?
Try 6-9-6-24, trcd 88, 1.55v. With 2:10 that should get you at least 1920 100% stable.
:) Is your bios the latest one??
this kit seems really unlucky..
Kenny, what was your max speed at 1.35v and 7-8-7? Could you do at least the spec of 800Mhz?
Hey :) Yea I could do the spec @ low BCLK and a bit over, but nothing special. Its pretty tightly binned
Interesting, my kit struggles at 1.35v, I get 754Mhz at 7-8-7. 1.45v it goes to 823Mhz.
low BCLK has been the most important factor for me getting it to run. What board(s) you running? :)
P55 FTW. How low is low BCLK? Man Im trying as low as I can and I start to get errors at 151x22, 2:10. That is 754Mhz. I also tried 2:8 and same :banana::banana::banana:e
133BCLK, x6 multi. Sadly im not kidding. The vIMC & vDIMM are connected... im guessing the IMC & RAM loading is as well
133 x6!? If this kit is binned to that BCLK that is seriously messed up. There is a point where no one would ever run that low a BCLK or multi and that is past it by faaaaar. Kenny can you run 800Mhz at 7-8-7 and 1.35v at any reasonable BCLK? I'm just trying to determine if other can run this spec speed or if it's just my kit. Im finishing up my review so it's an important point.
G.Skill rep, can you comment on the binning for 800Mhz and 7-8-7 please?
