Runs fine with the Coolermaster Real Power M1000 (modular version).
Will give the Corsair HX1000 a go to :D
Will let you know how that goes.
thanks a lot smokey! :D
so whats the prob with thew enermax infinity?
thanks again smokey! :D
bryan, not sure... i didnt hear back from the guy who had probs with that psu... no idea if it worked after all or if the psu blew up...
Hello!
I tried a Corsair HX1000W & Corsair HX620W PSU with my BlackOps and both worked fine.
I can confirm problems (endless reboot loop) with Enermax Infinity 720W. I tried two different Infinity 720W PSU with two BlackOps motherboards with the same result.
With the Infinity, clearing CMOS makes the system start and allows you enter into the BIOS, but once you modify, save settings (nothing related to overclock) & exit, starts the reboot loop.
The Enermax Galaxy DXX 1000W worked, but gave me problems overclocking. Was impossible to raise 4 GHz with a QX9650 while with the Corsair HX1000W worked fine at that speed.
Hope this helps anyone.
Cheers, ducted.
Hi saaya
You can add this one to the working list
Silverstone Zeus STZF85 850W
:)
Hi saaya
Sorry type error it's
Silverstone Zeus STZF75 750W
Working fine
ok, ill edit the list right away, cheers :toast:
just received the following PSUs and handed them over to one of our labs :D

couldnt get the abit psu or the enermax 1000W psu...
if we figure out its a problem of our board, those psus should be all we need to fix it. if it happens to be psu specific issues, then testing with the other 2 psus i couldnt order wont make a big diff either...
some of our engineers are gonna test compatibility now, ill keep you updated :D
OCZ EliteXStream 1000 works well for us with Foxconn BlackOPS - even with 2x 4870X2.
Sascha corsair hx520 are also working flawless
thanks for the headsup guys! :toast:
let me check what the status is on the PSUs we received here for testing :)
Silverstone DA-1000 and Corsair TX750 both are  with BlackOps and MARS here. :)
HighPower 1000W Rock Solid works with no issues: QX9770+9800GX2SC/3870X2/4870X2...
I will make a LN2 Test with that PSU.
thanks a lot guys! added to the list :toast:
Zalman ZM1000-HP works well (and is :banana::banana::banana:ing sexy)
heh, it does look nice... very nice actually...
that with a red led inside will look killer in any open stand or acrylic glass case!
added to the list :toast:
I just got the test results! :D
Coolermaster Realpower 1000W - test passed
Seasonic 600W M12 - test passed
Enermax Galaxy DXX 720W - test failed
Unfortunately the ABIT psu wasnt available and we couldnt find the enermax 1000W either.
The conclusion about the Enermax 720W is that the PSU doesnt shut down immediatly but keeps running for some time, this causes issues with the power cycle on our board, which results in the endless reboot cycles some people have reported.
We will check if we can find the abit and the enermax 1000W psus and check those too, and we will check if we can find a fix for the enermax 720W psu :toast:
EDIT: I checked with our engineers, here are some more details:
Not sure why, but my guess is that the enermax PSU continues to run for that long to vent the system and remove hot air from the case? since the psu works on some boards, its not a definite psu issue id say, so it doesnt mean the psu is faulty or flawed. I guess its just a compatibility issue. Ill check if i can hook up our engineers with the enermax engineers :DQuote:
After the board tells the Enermax psu to shut down (motherboard closed the PS_ON signal), its still is running for about 10 seconds.
I also tried it in other platforms (MCP72, RD790, ELA01...), and got the same result. I think the problem is in Enermax psu, not in BlackOps.
Enermax Modu82+ 625w works fine here! :)
Using the Coolmax CUQ-1200B. No boot problems with it. I have not messed much with OC but when a failed OC recovered it did not get stuck in a loop. Running a pair of 4870 X2 cards off it with no problems.
