Charles, what are you cooling that 1950X with?
Triple stage cascade
I haven't ran that chess test yet, it's something I haven't got around to checking out just yet.
I like y-cruncher but I've nver used it to bench, at least not yet.
Have you ran a pi 1m bench?
That would be interesting, official or mod.
Not the goofy multi threaded one for windows...
Edit:
Oh and I realize it's a high thread count cpu.
Though I guess I am going off topic, being that this thread is the chess bench thread.
I wonder what the results of linpack/linx would give..?
I think I'm gonna try this test in a few days, to compare windows and linux.
yep will eager to see how sandy/ivy-E will perform
Yeah I tried it a min ago...
I was going to throw it on my linux live cd iso image, along with a bunch of other tools.
I'm making my own personal distro so everything is config'ed out of the box, I'm going to try stress testing with it later.
Anyways, tried the popcnt ver.
chmod +x'ed it, then ran it, check my network logs and it's talking to the internet...
What's that all about?
If it's updated not to do that, I may give it another go.
Sorry but I'm just suspicious of things, and I don't need some random benchmark talking to the internet.
Not to be a scare monger or anything.
A Dual AMD EPYC 7551 @2.55Ghz 128threads added to the list..
Have you removed the spyware yet?
Or whatever it is that it's doing behind your back...
I'm not going to bother making a pcap, but it's pretty easy to see it's opening ports and connecting to the internet.
Not only is it suspicious, but it's not going to help your benches any when it needs to do that.
You should of been up front with that :banana::banana::banana::banana:.
Instead you just ignore my post, which has been around for what, a month or 2?
Oh yeah, a month...
So wtf dude, whatever...
I mean if you just don't give a h00t then whatever you know.
If you fix it, then maybe I'll try it, and perhaps even recommend it.
Otherwise hell no, I have other tools that I put on my livecd distro that don't spy on me.
I still remember the times when you were begging others to try your benchmark..
And I'm starting to wonder why...
I mean really, if it's not a big deal, why not disclaim it?
And adding a way of disabling it.
You know I'm not trying to be a :banana::banana::banana:.
You used to get ignored by most when you would ask them to use your benchmark.
And now you're ignoring me..
Which makes it all the worse.
You should come clean and tell us wtf you're doing...
If it's just an update checker or whatever, tell us.
First two benches with a AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2 2950X

Happy New Year 2019 for everyone!
Have something special.. very special..
What you think about this benchmark from a Cluster system with 128 cpu's each 32threads = 4096 threads!!
The log file is too big..each system create his own log
I just copy last lines from system 128 who gives these total nodes/sec. from all systems in this Cluster.
