anyone mind if I order monday? I've got requests to wait a bit because the forum was flakey today. if anyone objects, I'll order right now. waiting 15 mins. for responses.
Well... I guess it's fine, but I feel a bit disappointed since I kinda rushed the decision and ordered literally last minute (or actually two minutes before dead-line). Otherwise I'd have spent the weekend doing more research. :rolleyes:Quote:

Ok guys, I realize that within a 15 min span of time not everyone that ordered can reply, but I did not order since the ppl that did reply were ok with it. Kone makes a good point though, it prob wouldn't have been put in till monday anyway. Reguardless of whether the forum goes down or not, I will make the order monday morning 8 am US central time. (cause that's when they open). So I guess you couple ppl got your wish... thank your fellow members :)....to anyone else who disagrees, I apologize ahead of time.
Fareastgq : Check your PM please :toast:
No problem, and thanks for doing this for us fareast..:D
any word on my dumb guestion above?
Damn, if i didnt need more ram, i would jump on this.. The psu is my only drawback. I would want a dc/dc 24 volt unit and something tells me they will be about $100.
Just do what I do & jog, walk, ride & bike to work & save your gas money. Eat ramin noodles, & pb&J save you food money. Lastly drink Keystone instead of Budwiser. Be creative to fund yur computer needs... :toast:Quote:

Im still deciding here... wondering if i should take 30 instead... trying to decide between psu and converter... at least i have till monday ¬_¬
Ftw... Rd-30
I went with the RD-30 - cant wait to get it.
Have started building a new system
MM U2-UFO opti1203 with PA120.3
This RD-30 pump
Conroe cpu and mb coming this summer (not all that far away) Need to figure out what blocks etc to use, aswell as fittings etc.
HD's and GFX (XFX 7800GTX) will be looted from my old system. Then later when i get more cash (tm) maybe upgrade to SLI or Crossfire - Never hurts to be prepared with the goods with high capacity
I picked the RD-20 - silence FTW.
Where did you find noise stats for the 20 and 30?
I didn't. I just asked him and he said RD20 was more silent. :confused:Quote:

man....i dont have any other part ready besides this one now....im cooling an opteron 165 (want to go for 3ghz 24/7 stable..currently have it at 2.8 with a big typhoon) on an DFI ultra D. My ram tops out at 276mhz so i dont need to run tooo much of a divider. I also just got my 7900gtx and northbridge i would like to cool(maybe not the northbridge though) Anyone have any good recommendations to compliment this pump, any would be greatly appreciated....so far i was thinking: Swiftech Storm, Danger Den Maze4 Acetal, HWLabs Black Ice Pro, and honestly have no idea what tubing or resevoir(do i even need one?) i will be getting as of now. i still have a ton of research to do but any bumps in the "right" direction would be welcome.
t-line instead of res, 7/16 masterkleer tubing on 1/2 barbs...
Id get at least a swiftech MCR QP or a coolrad to do these pump justice though, if not a PA.
