Impressive frequency, crappy result, seems this is what Bulldozer is all about :(
Good to see you pushin' it buddy!

read this.

Now...this is more reasonable result. Bro!
Keep pushing it ~
-
Nice results...i wish you could run only the 4 cores, 1 from each unit and see if that increases the result of super pi.
-
it will that's what I was asking for... new bios for asus have this feature.
-
impressive namegt! In superpi is FX not good, but u can try Winrar bench, it will be awesome score, wiill see!! Interesting could be R11.5 under LN2. Superpi is too old for FX :(...Maybe better MaxxPI at 64M.
-
Nice job, and what a memory clock :O
-
Awesome, can't wait for your further updates! :yepp:
P.S.: Where's my FX?

SF3D and Macci tested couple of FX's under LN2. They tested Cinebench @ +7GHz, you can find video from here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Yzdk...el_video_title
namegt, nice overclock!
-
Nice clocks:up:
Tried/tested BD on TA990FXE?
-
8 cores @ 8Ghz on LN2?
Nice stuff. Grats!
-
very nice! so that tells us even with low ram vs. high ram frequency that in Pi 500 MHZ give you around one second...so all we need is 10 GHZ :hehe:

nb always go that high with these chips? reviews mentioned them being limited... or is it a function of temp and volts?
very nice job btw!

Low temps greatly increase clock speed headroom on everything.
-
8GHz is great but performance is ......
-
...poor so poor remember when socket A and k8 have more performance by clock even pentium 4 this is the same...why 8 ghz 9 ghz or 10 ghz if with the other side with less can do more. is official: FAILDOZER

1 Attachment(s)
hersound: wtf? U are wrong, maybe at superpi and others old benchmarks, but look at this example:
Attachment 121332

http://media.bestofmicro.com/L/S/310...al/blender.png
http://media.bestofmicro.com/M/4/310...finereader.png
http://media.bestofmicro.com/M/Z/310...nal/winrar.png
And its more simillarz results-ussually big improvement in photoshop, 3DCAD, practice compression decompression, microsoft office working, megatasking
I thought, if we are at XS, we are not stupid live only in superpi benchmarks etc, but we know also something about real performance of new products....
-
yes it's true we are at the xtreme systems but so sorry buddy still a buggy performance to me and others...and not only superpi trust me ilike others amd rigs but let me say that not this time with bulldozer.
-
COME ONE!!! somebody with intel 965 + e4300 + and overclocking can do better results, whats going on with AMD in these days? 8ghz and that horrible result? ... poor people that spend money in that plataform...
Best Regards from Argentina.
