The VMEM mod can be done in exactly the same way as for the 6600 (NON-GT) PCI-E card since it uses the same PCB. Check out: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=52587
The VGPU mod is still under investigation and I'm looking to find out as well! So please let us know when you find out!
Its not the same PCB. :)
I'm just checking, but are both of the chips I have cirled RT2914's? If they are, can you check the voltage at the 2 points I have marked please.

Umm... AFAIK I'm 90% sure it's the same PCB as long as you're comparing 128 MB Asus 6200 PCI-E to a 128MB Asus 6600 PCI-E! Now if you start comparing across brands, interface, etc I won't guarantee anything... :toast:Quote:

Exactly, but who said anythign about the 6600GT? Looks like you pwn3d yourself indeed...Quote:

I made the mods, here you can see it. :) http://forums.vr-zone.com.sg/showthr...080#post651080
Interesting... I would assume there was a pencil mod you could do for the vcore. Is that not possible?Quote:

Vgpu from 1,36 @ 1,43 V. I gain in gpu overclocking from 520 @ 560 mhz .
Vmem from 2,49 @ 2,65 V. I gain in mem overclocking from 620 @ 655 mhz.
:D
J thing You should try pencil mod on R626 or R627.just overshade one of thouse resistors and it should wrok
and try overshade the R321 resistor for V mem the resistor is near RT 9214.let me know if itś working.
Old tread.
ut just so everyone can find it.

And the mod works great
What mods can I preform to the card other than Vgpu and Vmem?
Could I add more capasitors and if, how do I deside where + and - are??
